Poland's economy 42% larger thanks to EU membership, finds new study
Analysts attribute much of the growth to the benefits of joining the European single market, including easier access to cross-border trade and investment.

Editor's note
Political earthquakes are rare at this time of year, but Kraków’s voters might be making a bigger point than they realize. Keep an eye on this—it could foreshadow mid-term soul-searching.
Chinese man detained in Poland after taking photos of rail infrastructure

Editor's note
Not the first time someone’s run into trouble for mapping infrastructure. Avoid suspicious behavior near industrial or rail zones—especially with a camera in hand.
